Garden of Eden

Local North Florida doctor and pastor EE Callaway wrote a book in the 1950s detailing his theory that the original garden of Eden was in the north Florida region, not Asia. I grew up learning this theory in Sunday school, and have loved imagining it my whole life. 

I paint in oils because they are natural earth materials. When possible I incorporate some of my own handmade paints into my pieces. I love how this makes a piece truly "of" the location we are painting.
